Droog: Do you feel stalled? Can we help? I don't want this game to be n-th instance of PbP I get involved with and dies prematurely. I hope you feel the same

 Re: Dark Ages HeroQuest
Particularly given how cool this has been in each instance. Different than my usual gaming experience and, IMHO, really well suited to the PbP approach. I was just thinking the other night how differently this would feel around a table...

 Re: Dark Ages HeroQuest
Don't worry guys, if this one dies it won't be from my end. I have just been very sick (I just got well enough to start working in the garden again) and I wanted to be on form when we started up again. Talking crap on the internet is way easier on the head than running a game.
I'm really happy that you're keen, by the way.

Progress report – I seem to be getting worse rather than better. I'm presently having headaches, coughing fits and dizzy spells. I think it might be time for the antibiotics.

 Re: Dark Ages HeroQuest
Can I still join? I’d like to play a well-traveled merchant or scholar type of character, a sort of forerunner to Marco Polo or modeled after Socrates of Constantinople, maybe kind of both (he’s from a merchant family and formally educated.) Is that plausible?
He is in Britain because of rumours of “magical” items and, being a scholar/merchant, he’s there to investigate. He’s also gathering mercenaries to help him recover relics taken by barbarians.

Not too bad, thanks. The doc put me on stronger lung medicine. I've lost some momentum, but we'll be back on soon.
