Yah, they are both great, and great players too, we miss them badly in Tucson. :)

I even got to appear a few times, presumably that is what is responsible for ruining the podcast and making them quit.

Keep in mind I'm not really big on podcast.

I love their enthusiasm. I think a co-host formula is ideal for such a show but not everyone can pull it off the way they do. They have amazing chemistry.

I'm usually doing stuff around the house and put podcasts in the background. Veronica always gets me back into the show if my mind is drifting. English is a second language for me and she's one of those few persons who speaks very fast but I never have any problem understanding anything she says.

I find that they get the better out of their guests and they go just deep enough to get some substance without boring me or getting overly technical.

There's tons of interesting people covering interesting topics in their podcasts but as far as how they hosts, they were amazing IMO.

Thanks for your answer, CD. I appreciate it.

I hope I didn't come across as crowing about their departure. That was not at all my intent.

Nah, you're good. And right! (And I know the Blessings enjoyed therpghaven podcast's earlier incarnation, we discussed it on Out of Character a couple of times, so I'm sure they'd be psyched for it to give their methods a go.)

I loved it when they were unabashedly Savage Worlds fans. When they split the cast and tried to do Smiling Jacks' ..., I tried to keep up but lost interest. It seems like they bought off more than they could chew as well, because they weren't nearly as regular after that. Keeping energy up for a long run of podcasting when its a labor of love is hard. I'm thankful for what they added to my gaming life at the time and would certainly never criticize them for letting the cast fade. As some bible-echoing fellows once sang, "To every season, turn, turn turn ..."

That would be the Byrds, with Roger McGuinn on electric twelve string guitar. One of the most recognizable sounds in rock.

We a have a plan.
We also have other demands on our attention and energy. Inertia for the win.
But Fear Not Good Listener!
I want to do this, Troy wants to do this. We just need to get moving to have inertia work for us rather than against us.
