I'm Chris Richeson, a regular RPG reviewer and past ENnies judge. I'm running on a platform of playing as much of the material as humanly possible with several groups accustomed to playing a broad variety of games. I believe that only through play can a game be properly evaluated, and that that evaluation must involve whether the play experience matches up to the design goals of the game.

I'm happy to answer any questions that come to mind.

MZR pointed out (on Google +, where you can see more of walkerp than here thats for damn sure) that we could have an all girl panel for the incoming ENnies panel of judges....I'm seriously considering it...

I have to admit I have never posted on this site before, I've read the forums from time to time but never registered. I have to admit that today I have registered because I would like to introduce myself as a potential candidate as a judge for next year's Ennies, but I intend on sticking around for a while and getting the feel of a different gaming related web community than I am used to. I'm not the most prolific of posters, I have to say.

In any event, my name is Kane Leal and I am asking you to consider me for Ennies Judge. Many of you have probably already looked over the applicants and formed your first impressions of us all. I know several of the other candidates from other forums, others by reputation, and they are all fine applicants. I'm an avid gamer who is willing to play just about anything that I come across. Of late most of my gaming has been fantasy, but I am really feeling the itch for something science fiction. For years I have collected and read more game material than I could ever use in my lifetime, enjoying every aspect of our hobby from homebrewed systems, running the game, painting miniatures, making terrain, you name it.

I've never been an Ennies Judge, nor have I been to GenCon. I come into this with no preconceived notions or biases about the process or the Ennies themselves. If you have any questions, feel free to ask.
