Gunfight Epiphany - Cthulhutech on Infrno
Hey, I am going to run some Cthulhutech on Infrno.net, organized by blog post and comments during the holidays and launched soon thereafter. It'll probably be on Tuesday or Friday evenings, though there will be some flexibility depending on people's schedules, or mine. This is mostly to help me learn both Infrno and Cthulutech, so I don't anticipate it being a big long campaign, and it's during the work week, so I won't be going super late into the evening (Arizona time) but I do want to try out various parts of the setting/system. Here's a link to the game.

Re: Gunfight Epiphany - Cthulhutech on Infrno
I just concluded the game last week. Here are my thoughts on infrno:
* The webcam is the killer app for online tabletop. * Be sure you have a headset, trying to do it with speakers and mike causes echoes that make it impossible for anyone else to talk. * What's needed is a calendaring tool that lets you see when people are available next. * The game table has some advantages over a real-life game table insofar as you can put notes on the table for "what we've learned", a "to-do list", a "rules refresher", one to track particular numbers (we tracked Cthulhutech's drama points that way), and you can use, say, Flickr, to instantly get pictures of NPCs that don't look like movie stars, and upload them so people can see what they're like.
I really liked it.

Hmmm, quite interesting.
We're heading into an online game of Beat to Quarters and I was planning to do it on MapTools, but it sounds like Infrno may have an easier buy-in.
Does it have dice-rolling? Directed or in-character chat?

It has a chat window in which you can roll dice...no "private" chats, everything is out in the open.
