 Looking for a game
I'm really interested in getting involved in a PbP or Wave game. Anyone have any good resources for finding one.

The obvious one is: http://paizo.com/paizo/messageboards/co ... connectionIt doesn't just cover Pathfinder and is the most active board I've ever seen. Mostly PbP though.

And the other one I've just remembered is: http://rpol.net/Not always PbP but again, a very active board.

 Re: Looking for a game
RolePlay Online (RPoL) is the biggest and best, IMHO. It has a very large user base and you can find a wide range of games available, both in game system and genre. Also, I've found that it has the best functionality conducive to PbP gaming. This is my number one recommendation for anyone interested in PbP gaming. PlayByWeb is another site, and my second favorite PbP gaming site. It claims to one of the first PbP gaming sites on the net, and it does have this old school web vibe to it that I like for some odd reason. RPG Resource Masters is another site that has a well established and large community where you can find a variety of games and genres. NextGenRPG seems like a cool PbP site with an active community.

Donboy has been running roleplayinggames.net for over a decade and it still appears to be thriving - http://www.roleplayinggames.net/

 Re: Looking for a game
The main problem is that as a wave gets larger, it becomes laggier. So after a certain amount of time, you would need to switch to a new wave. In addition you probably would want some sort of widget that acts as a map, which more then one player can edit.

It's not PBP, but infrno.net is good for online tabletop, with webcams and mikes and such.
