Very nice. You know what would be the cherry on top? A little profile drawing of the tower so one could get a visual sense of how the levels work vertically.

Much better. Easier to follow. About the only change I'd make is to clarify the traps a bit - maybe number them or something - and set them apart a bit better in text. but that might be too difficult given the space considerations.
Otherwise - very nice.
Makes me think we should start a one page dungeon dealie here - just for quick hits and inspiration...

Getting something ready for public consumption is definitely more work than making it for the home game. It's good for you, I suppose, but still a bitch.

I also find, though, for myself, that it refines it to the point where I am much more happy with it and can truly consider it done. But yes it is potentially an exponential increase in the amount of work. It's like database design, where 90% of the work takes 10% of the time and then the last 10% takes 90% of the time. Or something like that.

This is perhaps the best argument for doing world building out in the open, on a blog or on a forum. For full on world building, I prefer the blog because it subordinates the comments to the work in progress. don't get me wrong, I'm all for comments, good or bad, but I don't want someone to have to wade through them all when what they really want to do is look at the content and form their own opinions. For finished short form stuff like this, of course, the blog and forum are both great. As long as I'm derailing the thread (fuck you, OP!). I think forums are an ideal venue for conversations like the old school talk we're having right now. Everyone is on a much more even footing in a place like this than on a blog where you have the special snowflake and all his regular pals.

I (back) to a process of our group, and this really gave me a lot of ideas on the structure, and some fun ideas, and use it as a springboard.

I'm glad you enjoyed it. If you have any questions, feel free to ask me (here or at the blog). I would have responded earlier, but I've been out of the country for a while.
