Go here and be filled with awe at his "Sky-Fi" Planes!

OK...awe might be a bit much. But man, that stuff is cool...

The red biplan seems really sweet.

The me who wrote IHW: Aces And Angels can't stop thinking "Three quarters of these planes would never fly, and all are over-gunned". The other me says "Awesome Lego crafting!"

These represent my favorite kind of design: historically inaccurate, but true to the spirit of their era.

These look like models of plans which were designed in the 30s and 40s, but never saw large scale production.

I still have a gigantic basket (HUGE) full of the old Lego's from when I was a kid.

I have thought of pulling them out and doing something with them, but I doubt I could do anything as fantastic as what you can do with the newer legos.

I also doubt I would have the skill level with Legos to do anything near as good as the planes in the picture.

Just amazing

I also still have my tub of lego. I even still buy new sets now and again, it's really the coolest toy that ever existed.

I dont suppose since legos were made in mass that the old ones are worth anything.

Maybe once I get my table clear I will try to do something with them

Actually there are a ton of sites dedicated to buying, selling, and trading old lego kits. There's even a big database of all the old sets and whatnot. If you have a complete set, it may be worth something to someone.

Straight up old lego bricks are still being produced, though, so there's little value in old ones.
