 Re: Snacks
Snacks are of paramount importance. For skype games scotch and beer are my favorite snacks. My face to face group has a tradition of having oddly flavored chips. And roasted peanuts. Someone brought them once and now it hardly feels like game night with shells and peanut dust all other the table.

 Re: Snacks
The irony, coming from you... Oh, on topic: I see Kyle's breakdown is incomplete and unpractical for me. When I decide on an activity I could spend time doing, I break down things into incentives and dealbreakers. And the order can be different in both. Sometimes, it's not worth doing something you don't like to do, even with great people. That's just how life is.

 Re: Snacks
The snack I fear is Toffee Peanuts. They are far too good and just might be the most calories you can get out of a 16 oz can. EVIL!

I didn't make a claim (in this case) to reacting without anger.... ...when I get angry...I own it....

 Re: Snacks
Most of my gaming these days takes place at a friend's house. I usually bring chips and beer, because these are the things I like while I game, and I feel like it's impolite to accept hospitality without bringing anything in return. The beer is good. It doesn't make me drunk, but I enjoy it all a little more 3 bottles in. The chips are a bit of an issue. One or two other guys bring chips as well, and I inevitably over-indulge. It makes me feel physically unwell by the end of the night, and I get drowsy toward the latter half of game, unless less it's really engaging (which it usually is). The drowsiness is obviously an aspect of the time we play--from 7 till 1130 or midnight, but the truckload of carbs surely don't help.
