Re: WotC reprints AD&D First Edition!!! Hmmm, yeah I'd thought they'd have thrown out a collectors edition too. But this is kind of a neat idea. And I am sure it's pretty cheap for them to do it.

Re: WotC reprints AD&D First Edition!!! I was reading through a thread over on CM about it and it suddenly struck me as possibly good set to get my kids. When I was talking about it this morning, brought on by the fact that I literally let out a "Holy crap," when I read this, my kids were interested.
Son: "Dad, what editions have we played?" Me: "Well, 3rd, Original, and DCC...oh yeah, and 4e through Gamma World." Daughter: "We haven't played first?" Me: "Not yet..." Re: WotC reprints AD&D First Edition!!! I'm planning to buy a bunch of old AD&D 1e books off a buddy of mine if he'll sell them, so I don't have much use for the reprint, but I'm still happy to see it going on. The AD&D 1e DMG in particular is a real treasure.

Re: WotC reprints AD&D First Edition!!! I've been looking at threads on other boards and they're hilarious as far as people panicking over what these reprints exactly mean but couldn't find a release date anywhere. Is that information available somewhere?
