 Dave Arneson has Passed Away.I'm trying to find the right link to source it properly, but the news is spreading. We've lost yet another giant.

Re: Dave Arneson has Passed Away. I went to Gencon a few years ago and caught the man hanging out at a booth. I walked up to him, confidently and yet humbly, and held out my hand.
"Thank you, sir," I said to him, "for everything." He shook my hand and looked perplexed -- what the hell did I mean? Thanks for...what, now? Still, he was polite and smiled. I like to think that, a few seconds later, he turned the incident over in his head and thought, "Oh, for all of this! The HOBBY! Oh, ok. Yeah, I helped make this happen. What was with the tie...?"
