 A hell of a lot of spammers lately!I have been blowing away spammers lately at an ever increasing rate. Something needs to be done to block them better - maybe captcha? I have hammered 15-20 today, and it's just past noon!

Re: A hell of a lot of spammers lately! This is becoming a full time job! Woke up to at least one spam in each forum, and about twenty in Announcements. PLEASE STOP THEM AT THE START BY PREVENTING THEM FROM REGISTERING, GUYS!

Re: A hell of a lot of spammers lately! Not sure. Could be that they are bypassing the login entirely and injecting the accounts and post directly to the DB. Or, the captcha and question is not handling the spambots well. Could be we just came up on rotation.

I have blown away at least 80 spam posts today. I have banned more than twenty five spambots. Re: A hell of a lot of spammers lately! Changed the login question. We have some 200 new spambots registered today. Someone does not like us.
 The update will have to wait for another day.Hope this helps. |
