This is what happens when the fight is on top of a building. I have to say that when I recall this battle (and we've had a few since) I do realize it opened my eyes to thinking about how to use the battlefield to my/out advantage if possible.
It also means that as a DM, I should find interesting ways to provide for this kind of opportunity. Hmmm...a rope bridge sounds interesting...
